Rogier’s side quest

This will unlock the back door to the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace.

After you find the Black Knifeprint, talk to Rogier and learn more about this mysterious talisman. You will find it in the Black Knife Catacombs, and he will take some time to decipher it. Once he does, Rogier will reveal that Ranni was responsible for Godfrey’s death. After Rogier reveals that Godfrey was killed by Ranni, he will ask you to find him and retrieve the Cursemark from him.

Assassin’s Cerulean Dagger

Assassin’s Cerulean Dager is one of the Talismans in the Elden Ring. When used to perform critical hits, it restores FP. Unlike the usual knife, this one is stained cerulean and misshapen. It was inspired by the Night of Black Knives. Upon using it on a large enemy, it switches to a double hit animation. Ulcerated Tree Spirit boss

You can find the Ulcerated Tree Spirit boss in Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs, located to the northeast of the Zamor Ruins Site of Grace. To get there, take the elevator up the tower and head south. Then, cross the bridge to the capital. Once there, the Ulcerated Tree Spirit can be found roaming in the open area, hiding in the sands.

You can avoid this fight by using a good strategy. The Ulcerated Tree Spirit will breathe fire on you from time to time. You must get behind its head or stay in a place where you can quickly react to this. This way, you’ll get the chance to perform some strong combo attacks. Once you’ve gotten in close, the Ulcerated Tree Spirit will move backwards.

After defeating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit, Godrick will move to the balcony of the Roundtable Hold. His legs look infected, and the Ulcerated Tree Spirit infected him with Death blight. Once you beat him, Godrick will give up his Rapier. However, he’ll become a merchant and learn more about the Shattering. He’ll also start investigating the conspiracy surrounding the Black Knife.
