Air Pogo

The company’s trademark was purchased by Creative Play Enterprises, which is based in Pasadena, California. Founder Brad Banta had joined the company at its inception and is now the company’s CEO. The company originally planned to move its operations to California, but they changed their minds after taking a tour of Laurel Industries, the manufacturing facility where Air Pogo was made. Today, there are two types of Air Pogos: the old-fashioned, and the new-fangled.

The Air Pogo, otherwise known as the pogo, is an inflatable jumper that is a fun way for kids to bounce around on a rope. It can be suspended up to 8-1/2 feet above the ground, and requires a minimum obstacle clearance of six feet. Unlike traditional bouncers, Air Pogos are easy to maintain, and can last for years if used correctly. Kids will have hours of fun playing on them, and they will never get tired of using them.

BowGo

A couple of years ago, CMU robotics experts were playing with a Pogo stick to create the bow Go. Now, a new company is creating a more realistic version of the Pogo stick that will be lighter and have a longer travel range. The bows are made of S-glass, a type of fiberglass that has a higher tensile strength than E-glass. CMU robotics experts have a much more important job to do than play with a pogo stick.

In 2009, Brown, a Carnegie Mellon engineering professor, built a prototype of a bow-like device and handed it out at a Pogopalooza convention. The design of the device was a big step forward from the original, and has been widely acclaimed by extreme pogoers. The BowGo, which is made of structural-grade fiberglass, is able to propel riders with over one hundred and twenty pounds of force. The BowGo was developed in such a way that it stores five times the energy of a conventional steel coil.
