When Did The Sims 2 and 3 Come Out? The Sims are a popular video game franchise. Developed by Will Wright, these games introduce a new feature, Create-A-Sim. In the first game, you can create a Sim and customize the traits and features of that character. The sequels add more features and expand on the original Sims concept, including the Create-A-Sim feature.

Character creation
The Sims series is a wildly popular game series that lets you create and customize your own life and characters. The Sims games are played on an emergent narrative where players build characters, design homes, and try to make them rich and successful, start families, and kill them in all kinds of imaginative ways. Character creation in Sims 2 and 3 allows you to recreate your own personality by creating a Sim that is a combination of both you and your favorite fictional characters.
Building customisations
The game has always been known for its custom walls, floors, and houses, and this has continued with the release of the Sims 2 and Sims 3. Custom terrain and neighborhoods are available for players to create in the latest installments of the franchise. Using the Create a World tool, players can create their own custom terrain and neighbourhoods, with the option of modifying them as they wish. For instance, you can choose the style of your house and garden, or change the roof and window coverings.
Character life stages
While the NPCs in the Sims 2 and Sims 3 games do not age, controllable Sims start at the current stage of their life. However, Sims’ ages will differ from stage to stage, depending on how high their Aspiration bar is at graduation. Generally, Sims who have high Aspirations enjoy longer retirements than those who are low on the bar.
Pets
In the popular simulation game, the Sims are able to keep animals as pets. Among these are dogs, cats, and werewolves. These animals can interact with humans and other animals. If you’re able to build a relationship with your Sim, it can turn into a werewolf. This animal will have the ability to turn other Sims into werewolves as well. The game’s console versions do not feature werewolves. There were mixed reviews for both versions of Pets.
Story mode
The Sims 2 and Sims 3 feature the ability to create stories about your Sims. The game features family trees, relationships, and turn-ons. There are also many possibilities for storylines, and you can write your own or rely on pre-existing canon. Story modes are free and are one-click to activate. However, this feature is not yet a game changer, so don’t expect it to be.
Sandbox mode
For those who get fed up with the constant destruction in SimCity, the sandbox mode is a welcome change. The game’s newest update makes it free for console users to play, too. You can start a new hospital with just a few Simoleons and add as many as you want. You can even toggle certain pushback systems, like earthquake and fire prevention. It’s a great way to build your own city and have as much fun as possible without worrying about getting destroyed by the famine or fire.
Online store
While The Sims 2 and Sims 3 are both free-to-play games, you can purchase items in the Online Store in the latter game for a higher price. The Sims 3 store will include both the game and its expansion packs. Simpoints are currency used in The Sims 3 games, and are worth one cent each. In addition, the Sims 3 store will incorporate a new “Game Launcher” that connects to a central website called the Sims 3 Exchange where you can download new content. The game was released in 2002 by Maxis, a company that closed down in 2008, and was followed by EA.
