Here’s my quick take on Season 4 of Rebels. You can’t beat a classic Star Wars series at its best! It’s a must-have for fans, but the special features aren’t a huge selling point.

Season 3

Star Wars Rebels is a science fiction animated television series produced by Lucasfilm and DisneyXD. Set in the early days of a rebellion against the Empire, the show is set on the planet Mandalore and is geared towards its penultimate fourth season, when the crew will face events from both “Rogue One” and “Star Wars: A New Hope.”

The first season premiered on October 3, 2014 on Disney channels worldwide and family channels in Canada. While it didn’t have a streaming service, it came out on DVD and can now be enjoyed on your own schedule. The DVD release is the only way to watch Star Wars Rebels until Disney Plus launches on November 12, 2019 and the final season is still available. In the meantime, you can catch up on all the previous seasons of the series with Star Wars Rebels season 2.

Special features

For fans of the original movies, the new television series is a must-watch. Star Wars Rebels bridges the gap between A New Hope and Revenge of the Sith by providing modern twists on familiar characters. Its strong voice cast includes Billy Dee Williams and Felicity Jones. Although the series doesn’t feature any major new characters, the plot is well-written and the characters are interesting. It is recommended that fans who enjoyed the original movies watch the new series in its entirety.

‘Star Wars Rebels’ season one comes on Blu-ray. The disc comes in a standard-sized eco-LITE Vortex keepcase similar to Sony’s. The keepcase opens with a flap and contains two 50GB Blu-ray discs. Inside, you’ll find a Disney Movie Rewards code, which you can redeem for free movies on the show. A separate insert features an advertisement for Disney’s Movie Club. The cover of the disc has a slipcover with artwork of Sabine and Ezra.

Recommendation

The latest Star Wars Rebels DVD release comes with an excellent collection of extras. The first disc contains two 50GB discs, each with five minute audio commentary tracks. The second disc includes seven behind-the-scenes featurettes and a Sneak Peak trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Season three includes a special sneak peek trailer for The Last Jedi, which premieres on December 16.

The Blu-ray release of Season One is quite impressive. The episodes look vibrant and crisp, with good colors and an overall 3D effect. The audio is also pretty good, as it captures the sounds of explosions, ship engines, flybys, and intense sabering. Though the Blu-ray has a few video flaws due to its rushed rendering process, it is a step in the right direction for fans of the show.

Review

If you like Star Wars, you will want to check out this DVD release of the animated series, Star Wars Rebels. The writing and directing are fantastic, and the series expands the universe of the Star Wars franchise. Disney’s Blu-ray release is excellent, with nice picture quality and entertaining extras. This disc is a great way to watch the entire season of the animated series and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home. Fortunately, season two of the popular animated series is coming out in less than a month.

Currently, you can buy all four seasons of Star Wars Rebels on DVD. The series is available on Disney+ and on DVD. You can also stream the series on Disney+. The fourth season, Resistance, will be released in 2020. This series brings back many of the characters and settings from the Clone Wars. You can also watch the movies based on the characters. If you are a fan of the Star Wars franchise, you’ll want to purchase a DVD set.

The third season of the popular animated series, Star Wars Rebels, is now available on DVD. This series follows the Ghost crew, a group of rebels.
