If you are looking to find a Cover Fossil, you’ve come to the right place! In this article, I’ll walk you through the process of getting the fossil. After you obtain the Cover Fossil, you can then craft a Claw and a Skull. These are incredibly useful items in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire! Let’s get started!
Table of Contents
Cover Fossil
Fossils can be found in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. The Claw Fossil can be obtained from the fossil found in the Mirage Tower in Route 111, but it will vanish when the player becomes Champion. The Root Fossil is found in a cave in the Desert Underpass. The Armor Fossil can be found in the Sinnoh Underground. In either game, the player can revive a fossilized Pokemon with its head.
In Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby, the cover fossil can revive certain types of Pokemon. Tirtouga is one of them. Its body is blue, and its shell is black. It evolves into Carracosta at Level 37. There are several ways to get a cover fossil, and one of them is to talk to a trainer in the Relic Castle. However, the best way to find it is to talk to someone who owns the Relic Castle.
Armor Fossil
In the game Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, an Armor Fossil can be used to re-generate the Shieldon. This armor fossil can be obtained by visiting Professor Cara Liss on Route 6. After you’ve defeated Diglett, you’ll see a stone arch and a ladder. Once you’ve reached the top, you’ll see a slouched figure in a lab coat.
You’ll also be able to get the Claw and the Root Fossils by defeating Gym Leaders in the game’s Gym. The former will disappear with the tower once you become Champion, while the latter can be found in a cave in the Desert Underpass. The Armor Fossil, on the other hand, can only be obtained in the Sinnoh Underground. Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby don’t allow you to breed fossil Pokemon, so you’ll have to dig them up yourself or trade them to a friend.
Skull Fossil
There are two different ways to get a Skull Fossil in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. You can find these items in the wild and Stow-On-Side Pokemon Center. The exact location will vary depending on which version of the game you’re playing. The brother on the left will offer to dig up items for watts. This will allow you to quickly dig up an item for one fossil and use it on another Pokemon.
You can also find Fossils by digging, but these are found in the Sinnoh region. If you get one from the same area, you’ll get three other fossils. You can also get five different Fossils from previous generations. These follow a similar formula, but some Fossils are easier to get if you already have a Skull or Armor Fossil.
Claw Fossil
In Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, you need to collect three types of fossils: the Claw Fossil, the Helix Fossil, and the Old Amber Fossil. You can only get one type at a time, but the three you need to complete the game will be the easiest to get. The Claw Fossil is used to revive the dual-type Water/Dragon Dracovish, which cannot be evolved into any other type.
A fossil can be obtained by talking to a scientist in Rustboro City. This person will revive your fossil Pokemon and let you use it to evolve it into a new type. You can also find fossils in the desert area of Route 111. These two fossils will also revive Lileep or Anorith. You can find fossils in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in many different locations.
Root Fossil
In the first chapter of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, you must collect both a Claw Fossil and a Root Fossil. Both are found on Route 111, and the former will sink in the sand. The latter can be obtained by going to the scientist in Rustboro City. After you revive the fossil, it will evolve into a different Pokemon, such as Anorith or Lileep.
If you want to revive Lileep or Anorith, you need to collect a claw and a root fossil. You can find them at the Devon Corp building in Rustboro City. There, you can talk to the man at the back right and revive your fossils. If you are unable to find a fossil, you can use Cradily, a dual-purpose Pokemon.
