Which MTG Booster Box Should I Buy?

If you are a newcomer to Magic the Gathering, one of your questions may be: which MTG booster box should I buy? While you may be interested in Neon Dynasty or Modern Horizons, you should also consider the more recent sets, such as Zendikar Rising. We will break down each of these releases and how they differ from each other. Also, you’ll learn about some of the best booster packs for each of these sets.

Neon Dynasty

Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty mtG booster boxes always have art or ukiyo-e lands and a Ninja or Samurai treatment, which are both exciting ways to expand your collection. A Set Booster is more likely to include multiple rares than Draft Boosters, and it is almost certain to include a foil. These are more exciting because they often include ukiyo-e lands than traditional foils.

Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty mtgg booster boxes also contain one foil alt-art promo card, as well as thirty to forty basic land cards. They also contain a token and an ad card. This is an excellent gift for new Magic players in North America. It is a fantastic way to expand your collection. The booster box also contains one or two uncommons and an art card.

Modern Horizons

Modern Horizons 2 is a deep dive for Magic fans, including New-to-Modern reprints, showcase sketch cards, fetch lands, and more. Each Modern Horizons booster box contains a total of 32 booster packs. The box also contains a reprint of Modern’s most popular creature, Eldrazi, along with an array of new cards. For a full list of the cards in the set, visit the Modern Horizons website.

The cards included in the first set are starting to make waves. Kaldra Compleat, Fractured Sanity, Grist, and Ignoble Hierarch were included in the Top 8 of the MTGO Modern challenge, and are worth considering picking up this weekend. For the beginner who has been interested in Modern, this might be a great time to get a booster box. The cards inside will be worth the money, and you will most likely be able to find cards that have a long shelf life.

Throne of Eldraine

Opening a Throne of Eldraine MTG booster box is an even greater experience than ever. The beautiful card treatments of the Draft Booster Packs and the Extended-art frames on the Planeswalkers make opening them a real treat. Similarly, the Mythic Edition Planeswalkers have beautiful card treatments, and the box toppers have beautiful, borderless Planeswalkers that are reminiscent of the card-art frame on the Ultimate Masters box.

Throne of Eldraine is a card game from Wizards of the Coast that features planeswalkers with borderless frames on their cards. These unique cards look similar to box toppers in the Ultimate Masters. In addition, the Throne of Eldraine booster box comes with showcase frames to help you display the art cards. Booster packs for the Throne of Eldraine set are available only in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Zendikar Rising

In the upcoming expansion, Zendikar Rising, the latest expansion for Magic: The Gathering, there are a variety of new cards available in booster boxes. You can expect to find two new types of creatures, a set booster and a mini-magic box, along with a variety of new cards. Each booster box will contain a variety of different cards, and some will include a unique card. The mini-magic box is an excellent way to experience all four types of cards.

The first booster in the set is usually an ad or token card, with the remainder of the boosters containing actual Magic cards. Set boosters contain a more streamlined deck building experience and have more cards than draft boosters. Unlike Draft boosters, they won’t include all the same cards, so you can’t expect to get all the new cards that are in the set. In addition to the common cards, you’ll find tokens, art cards, and other items to enhance your collection.

Commander Legends

The booster packs for Commander Legends include twenty cards, a non-legendary rare, mythic rare, foil, and two legendary creatures. The first 21 cards in the pack are the Marketing card. There are also two supplemental booster packs, a Collector Booster and a Draft Booster, which contain Prossh, Skyraider of Kher. The booster packs contain different designs for each faction, including two unique card art pieces.

Each Commander Legends booster box contains cards, tokens, and a fold-out guide to the Commander format. This edition is available in Draft and Collector formats and is sold for $125 USD. The booster box also includes fourteen markers for deckbuilding, including a Monarch marker. These markers will help you determine the best way to play your Commander deck. If you’re a new player to Magic, you can try the Commander Legends draft format.
