Who won the battle of the star wars cakes? There were many reasons to answer this question, but in the end, it comes down to one important thing: getting it right. Disney is all about creating magical moments, and that means behind the scenes struggles as well. Duff’s cake was not covered properly, while Buddy’s cake was flipped from vertical to horizontal! Which cake is the best?

Goldman
The Cake Boss and Ace of Cupcakes duo, Buddy Valastro and Duff Goldman, have entered the Star Wars cake baking competition on Food Network’s “Buddy vs. Duff.” They filmed their season finale at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The competition featured cake designs based on the characters and settings of the movies.
Both Buddy Valastro and Duff Goldman have recently suffered injuries to their hands and were unable to bake again. Sadly, Buddy lost the use of his main arm and had a difficult time decorating his cakes. However, in the new season of the show, he is back baking and decorating cakes. Watch for updates on his recovery, and see who wins the Star Wars cake decorating competition!
Valastro
The Star Wars-themed Cake Wars battle featured Buddy Valastro and Duff Goldman, with Valastro coming out on top. Both made delicious cakes, but the Falcon cake was a close second. It had an X Wing Starfighter rising from the swamp. It also had a sculpture of Yoda. While Duff made a better cake, he wasn’t able to make it with hyperdrive!
In season two, the competition was more fierce than it was in the first season. Buddy was up by 1.5 points, and had a commanding lead going into the final episode. While Duff and Buddy were both impressive in their own way, Valastro’s cake was the most beautiful. Ultimately, Valastro won the battle! In the finale, the competition was decided by the judges and viewers.
Valastro’s hand stabbed by metal rod
Former Star Wars actor Buddy Valastro recently revealed that he was stabbed by a metal rod while bowling. The accident caused him to lose sensation and the tendons in his hand have been damaged. After the accident, the actor underwent two surgeries and has since returned to work. TMZ has an exclusive clip of Valastro getting his plaster removed.
After the accident, Valastro lost strength in his left hand and had to undergo multiple surgeries. He is still recovering, but his wife Lisa Valastro is happy for him. Buddy’s friends have sent their best wishes and hopes for his quick recovery. In the meantime, the cake has earned him much attention. After all, Valastro has been a star on the show for many years.
Marty’s cake flipped from horizontal to vertical
In Cake Wars Season 2, Team Buddy came out on top. A panel of 50 cake artists was supposed to ensure the cakes would be rated fairly and without controversies, but in the end Team Buddy was the clear winners. Their cake had Marty, a nine-foot tall cake monster, flipped from a horizontal to vertical position. This is an utterly spectacular cake.
Judges’ process
The Star Wars cake was one of the most memorable cakes that I’ve seen on TV. The show’s judges and crowds were known to go crazy over the cakes, so I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. The Cake Boss season finale featured a Monster cake. The judges went through the process of choosing a winner. If you want to win the cake, be sure to watch the show!
This show, based on the popular video game, pits two bakers against each other. On the first season, Duff won by a slim margin, while Buddy received a score of 217.2. Despite this narrow margin, it was a close fight between these two bakers. However, there will be new challenges for them this season. As the show continues, the judges’ process is a little more complicated than it was in season one.
