Why Does Jessica Jones Shoot Luke Cage?

In the upcoming Marvel Studios film, “Scarlett Johansson,” Jessica Jones faces PTSD. Her previous encounter with Luke Cage and the fight with Kilgrave are the main reasons she’s reverting back to a more mellow, softer persona. However, her relationship with Luke Cage and her battle with Scott Lang are also key factors to understand.

Jessica jones’ PTSD

We know from the comic books that Jessica Jones has PTSD, but she never explicitly says that. Her sister blames her anxiety on her disability, and it’s unclear if Jessica actually shoots Luke cage. Even though her sister blames her, Jessica is also using cognitive behavioral therapy to help her through these moments of crisis. But what if Jessica doesn’t have PTSD? Would she have continued to see her therapist if she knew she was suffering from PTSD?

Kilgrave, Jessica Jones’s primary antagonist in season one, represents PTSD. As a purple-clad maniac, he is the embodiment of the disease. He can make other humans do what he wants. Because he suffers from PTSD, his actions are in direct opposition to his values. He’s basically the worst case scenario of negative self-talk.

Her relationship with Luke Cage

In the New Avengers Annual Vol. 1 #1, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage marry. Unlike previous marriages, the couple does not include super villains, but it does include Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, Mary Jane Watson, and Spider-Woman. Iron Man and Stan Lee also attend. Luke and Jessica are married by a minister that looks like Stan Lee. In the ceremony, Jessica tells Luke that she and Luke are better together than apart. Luke, on the other hand, believes Jessica can’t handle emotional baggage, but she does.

The two have many ups and downs, but ultimately remain committed to each other. Although they are independent and stubborn, they have a lot in common, and their relationship has always been a highlight of the show. In one episode, Jessica hid her relationship with Luke from Luke and left him in Chinatown, but in another episode, Jessica found Luke in Chinatown. The two were then reunited and started working together again.

Her fight with Kilgrave

After months of trying to save Jessica from Kilgrave, she finally succeeded in her mission and killed the evil kingpin. Despite her death, Jessica was left distraught, angry, and shattered. She also resorted to murder to get back at Kilgrave, shooting his parents and leaving him to die alone. But, what really happened? Is Jessica really dead, or is she just acting irrationally?

In a scene in which Luke is shot by the police, Jessica is forced to decide whether she will save her life or that of Luke. After all, Luke is the one who pushed Luke into the ditch and Jessica is left with no other option. However, her decision is based on her own values. She never meant to hurt Luke, but she does. This choice hurts Luke physically, mentally, and emotionally. However, without Jessica, Kilgrave would have never pursued her partner.

Her relationship with Scott Lang

There are many theories on why Jessica Jones shoots Luke Cage because of his relationship with Carol Danvers. Despite their strained relationship, both characters were attracted to each other. In the comics, Jessica’s relationship with Luke was characterized as “friends with benefits” and their sexual attraction was equally intense. Luke had a reputation among the superhero community as a cape-chaser and knew a superpowered woman would be safer with a man who isn’t known for his violent actions.

When she discovered that Scott Lang was a mutant, Jessica contacted Scott Lang and told him of her desire to see Luke. But Cage refused to listen to her, and she began dating Luke. Scott Lang suggested that Jessica shoot Luke because of their relationship. The two then fought. But the fight turned violent when Cage accidentally shot Jessica. The fight with Luke was a climactic end for Jessica, who had to face the Punisher, and her family.
