He was a gambler and smuggler who eventually ended up as Baron Administrator of Cloud City. Lando was a multifaceted character and his early years remain largely unexplored in the canon Star Wars universe. During the Star Wars Rebels series, he was portrayed by Billy Dee Williams.

After being promoted to General in the Rebel Alliance military in Return of the Jedi, Lando helps Luke and Han Solo escape from Jabba the Hutt. He also pilots the Millennium Falcon along with his co-pilot Nien Nunb, and helps to destroy the Second Death Star. Although he does not have the rank of Grand Admiral, Lando has an impressive list of accomplishments, and his efforts in saving Han Solo have made him an icon of the Star Wars universe.

He’s a crime lord nemesis
