The World of Warcraft 12th anniversary event is a celebration of the game’s history, introducing Timewalking instances, which were used to obtain Timewarped Badges that could be used to buy pets, mounts, and armor pieces. While these are no longer available for purchase, players can still earn Timewarped Badges in this event, and these can be used to purchase items from vendors within each faction’s capital cities.

Corgi in World of Warcraft
On November 30, World of Warcraft will release a special Anniversary gift – a cute Corgi puppy. The Corgi will only be available in-game, so make sure you’re logged in at that time! As part of the anniversary celebration, Blizzard will also give players 200 Timewarped Badges, which increase experience gained from kills by 12% for an hour. As part of the anniversary event, players can also earn special headpieces for transmog.
The Corgi is a unique battle pet in World of Warcraft, and although it looks rather innocent, it is capable of putting its tiny jaws to good use in the field. This achievement is awarded to players who log in during the 12th anniversary time period, and players will also receive 200 EXP boosting Timewarped Badges for completing it. In addition, the special anniversary event also gives players the chance to pit their knowledge against Historian Llore in a competition.
Corgi quest
The World of Warcraft 12th anniversary Corgis are now available for purchase in-game! If you’ve been wondering how you can get one, the first step is to read the “Letter from the Timewalkers” quest in Orgrimmar and Stormwind. These quests will send you to two different locations to answer trivia questions. The correct answers will earn you Timewarped Badges, which will allow you to purchase a Corgi Pup!
The World of Warcraft anniversary event will last for twelve days, and will also feature new achievements and items. As part of the event, you can earn a corgi puppy and get a special achievement for logging in on the anniversary. It is incredibly easy to participate and can be completed quickly! The Corgi quest is available on both Horde and Alliance accounts, and the reward is a cute Corgi Pup!
Corgi rewards
In celebration of World of Warcraft’s twelve-year anniversary, Blizzard is giving away free Corgi Pups to players! To participate, players must log in before November 30 and check their mail for a special Anniversary Gift Package. The package contains 200 Timewarped Badges, the Celebration Package, which extends the duration of kills by 12% for an hour, and a Letter from the Timewalkers quest line that will lead players to Orgrimmar and Stormwind.
The anniversary celebration is a chance to collect more Timewarped Badges. Using these will grant you a special Corgi Pup, a pet for your main character. You must collect at least 200 Timewarped Badges for this questline, which ends at a vendor selling the Corgi pup. To buy several pets, you can use an alt character. The Corgi Pup is available in Stormwind City and Orgrimmar.

Nostalrius private server
A new private server is coming to World of Warcraft in December. The project is called Nostalrius, and the servers will be run by a fan group, Project Elysium. This new server will run vanilla World of Warcraft with all of the patches installed up to patch 2.0. It will allow players to take their characters with them when they move to the new server, and will set the game state to its last patch before a major expansion.
The Nostalrius team has launched a petition to open the original World of Warcraft private servers. The petition has over 200,000 signatures, and former World of Warcraft team leader Mark Kern is personally delivering it to Blizzard’s president, Mike Morhaime. Although Blizzard has yet to make a decision, they do have the legal muscle to shut down the Nostalrius private server.
