The latest World of Warcraft patch notes include several changes for the combat system, including Frost Shock and Flame Shock damage effects. In addition, the range of Shadowstrike has been reduced from 25 to 15 yards. Exsanguinate has had its damage increased and now ticks at a faster rate. Between the Eyes has also seen an increase in damage. Other changes include: Jolly Roger’s Saber Slash chance increased to 25%, Buried Treasure’s base Energy regeneration increased by 25 percent, and Shark Infested Waters increases the chance of Critical Strike by 25%. And, finally, Grand Melee, Slice and Dice, and Overloaded with Light all have improved attack speeds.

Changes to Frost Shock
Icefury (Talent) increases Frost Shock’s damage by 225%, while also reducing the Fire Elemental’s mana cost by 90%. Hopefully, this means that Fire Elementals will no longer run out of mana. Another change is that Splintered Elements grants 10% Haste for 12 seconds, while Brewmaster grants 10% Haste for 10 seconds. Additionally, Crash Lightning, Fire Nova, and Windfury Totem have their base mana cost reduced to 1% and 1.5%, respectively.
The AoE damage done by Feint is now less than 50%, which should help protect Rogues in raids and dungeons. The reduction is also intended to protect against enemies out of a Rogue’s line of sight. This change also means that the damage done by the Insignia of Ravenholdt will no longer be reduced by Frost Shock.
Changes to Flame Shock
The changes to Flame Shock are relatively minor. Its base mana cost has been reduced to 1%, and its PvP duration scales with the amount of Maelstrom it consumes. It no longer consumes 20 Maelstrom to cast Flame Shock, and its damage has been increased by 100%. The effect of Bloodlust and Heroism, which are cast by Shamanism, has also been changed, increasing their damage and duration by 20%. Furthermore, the damage of Chain Heal and Endless Affliction has been increased by 6%, and they both deal the same damage as a single attack.
As part of the changes to Flame Shock, the SHAMAN now has two new glyphs to change his or her Ghost Wolf form. This talent will now increase Haste by 10%, and the next four Flame Shocks will deal 10% more damage. The Frost Shock and Flame Shock have no longer shared cooldowns. Also, the chance to cast Unruly Winds is now between 15% and 40%, depending on the item level.
Changes to Templar’s Verdict
Templar’s Verdict’s damage has been tweaked in the 7.2.5 patch notes. The PvP damage dealt by this spell has been reduced by 30%. However, the base damage of the spell is still the same. It still deals the same amount of damage as a Divine Storm, but with a higher cooldown and no additional abilities. The new version also increases the amount of damage dealt by Demon’s Bite and Demonic Presence.
The damage done by the Templar’s Verdict is now lower, with a 12% damage reduction on Mythic difficulty. Dark Solitude and Arcane Barrage are now more effective, and Arc Lightning and Pennies from Heaven are now more potent. Garrote and Vampric Embrace are also less damaging, as their damage is now lower than before.
Changes to Priest’s Overloaded with Light
In World of Warcraft 7.2.5, the Priest’s Overloaded with Light skill now gives increased damage when the target dies. Whenever the target dies, the Priest will receive a bonus to damage from all his skills. Specifically, the damage dealt by Chaos Bolt has been increased by 40% and the cost of casting it has been reduced by 75%. It is also now possible to cast it twice per second to increase the damage output.
There have been a few changes to Priest’s Overloaded with Light, mainly in terms of its damage. Its range has been increased from 10 yards to 20 yards, and its duration is now 10 seconds. It now requires a minimum of 10 adventurers to be able to complete the raid. Earlier, players could only reach level 100, but the Broken Isles expansion has changed that. Players can now level up to 110!
Changes to Phantom Singularity
The upcoming World of Warcraft patch brings a variety of changes for PvP. This patch includes a new brawl mode that takes its inspiration from Hearthstone and Overwatch. Examples of these new modes include Packed House, where two 15-person raid groups are dumped into an arena map. These maps are typically used for three-versus-three matches. A new winter Arathi Basin map has also been added, which is a chillier version of the classic map. Visibility has been reduced.
Agony and Corruption deal 50% more damage to enemies with less than 35% health. This change makes them more effective for damage over time. Also, the damage dealt by the other items in the party has increased, while the damage done by the Phantom Singularity is increased by 5%. However, Soul Flame and Drain Soul are less effective against lower-level enemies.
