World of Warcraft – Blood Shard of Domination

This patch brings a new item: the Blood Shard of Domination. It was first introduced with the release of Patch 9.1 and will be removed in Patch 9.2. The shard will still work in Jailer’s Gauntlet challenge wing and Torghast wings, however. The shards are unique-equipped. The following information will explain their new uses. You can find the full list of changes in the patch notes below.

Fixed issues with glyphs

There are a few fixes to glyphs in World of Warcraft’s latest expansion. Glyph of Psychic Horror has been redesigned and now reduces the cooldown by 30%. Similarly, Glyph of Spirit of Redemption has been modified so that it no longer increases your damage by 50%. The glyph now has the correct damage range when added to your weapon. Lastly, Glyph of Atonement no longer causes the player to fear their opponent while in Tree of Life form. In addition, Glyph of Ferocious Bite no longer refunds Runic Power. And finally, Swordbreaking and Swordshattering now reduce disarm duration by 60%.

The tooltip for Conjure Mana Gem has been fixed, as well. Players were no longer seeing the correct amount of damage from their spell when they possessed a ghoul. The glyph’s shadow component no longer incorrectly received the 13% spell damage increase from the Earth and Moon. The tooltip for Ice Barrier has been updated. Glyph of Arcane Power’s global cooldown should reduce to zero. Also, Shard of Domination’s tooltip no longer displays a frostbolt visual. Power Overwhelming now causes all of your affected spells to cost no mana, and a new cooldown is triggered for Mind Blast and Holy Fire. It’s also not affected by the Prolonged Infusion.

Changes to Xy’mox’s health

If you’re new to the game, you’re probably wondering how to deal with the new changes to Xy’Mox’s health in World of Warcraft: Blood Shard. Basically, Xy’Mox’s health now varies according to phases. During Phase 1, players affected by Dimensional Tear should move to the center of the room or edge of it. Using wormholes can help you move. In Phase 2, players marked by Dimensional Tear should use portals to move around until the homing spirits despawn. During Phase 2, players should move their seeds to the side to avoid being hit by Dimensional Tear.

Xy’mox’s damage has also been decreased. Using abilities and casting spells with Artificer level is now significantly slower when he is below 30% health. This has a large impact on the damage that Xy’mox deals. While this is good news for the player, it’s also a drawback.

Changes to Artificer Xy’mox’s health

As a healer, Artificer Xy’moX has been affected by a number of changes to the game. The original ability to heal himself with Shadowstep no longer triggers on the final platform. The damage dealt by Shuri’s periodic attack has been reduced by 33%. The timing of Shuri’s Hand of Destruction has been improved and players should be able to access the Mage Tower challenge on the Broken Shore. The Honor vendor has added new PvP Spell Haste items. Likewise, the base movement speed of Sayaad’s Whiplash is now consistent and increased on Heroic.

Players should be aware of the three phases that the Artificer Xy’moxx’s health can go through in one phase. During the first phase, players should avoid being surrounded by Dimensional Tear and move away from the center of the room. If a player is marked by a homing spirit, they should take advantage of portals in order to escape. During phase two, players should move their seeds to the side so they aren’t in the middle of the room.

Changes to Volatile Charges

The recent update has brought changes to several of the game’s volatile charges. The Glyph of Rapid Charge now reduces its cooldown by one second, and the Assassinations’ Mastery ability has been converted to the Prayer of Mending skill. It increases healing by 60% and can be bought from an Engineering vendor. The effects of Synapse Springs have been tweaked as well, so that they now last for 10 seconds instead of twelve. The ability to create Flasks has been changed so that it no longer requires three red gems to produce them. This means that you can now craft flasks that can hold Volatile Life, or a similar spell that costs 45 Energy.

The Volatile Solvent now has a much shorter cooldown. You can activate it every time you cast Fleshcraft, giving you two extra minutes of health and damage reduction. The Fleshcraft passive effect can now be triggered by slime creatures in Plaguefall dungeon, and the spell can critically strike while using the passive effect. It will also grant buffs while channeling and will also reduce your cooldown by one second when you’re moving near an enemy corpse.
