The World of Warcraft (WoW) Cat Form is now available for both Night Elfs and Tauren Druids! Blizzard plans to reveal the Night Elf version sometime this week! In the meantime, here are some stats that you can look for in the Tauren Druid version. These numbers should help you find the best cat form for your class! And remember, your cat form will look awesome, too!

Base dps
Cat Form DPS formulas are based on a theoretical “perfect” attack cycle, which involves a perfect energy use, 100% Mangle debuff uptime, optimal use of Rip, and optimal powershifting. The results are not necessarily representative of the game, however, as the formulas reported below are based on a level 70 character and a level 73 enemy. Rather, they represent the relative damage-per-energy of the majority of attacks from the cat form.
Cat Form is not as powerful as the bear or druid form, but it does offer some distinct advantages. In PvP, it can tear casters to shreds, and the damage done is normalized to the same DPS level, unlike most other classes. The feline-derived forms are reminiscent of specific feline categories, with the night elf resembling a panther, the trolls looking like a tiger, and the tauren retaining their tusks and horns.
AC
A World of Warcraft cat form has several advantages over the other forms. First, it has higher DPS and movement speed than a normal rogue. Second, it reduces falling damage and protects from Polymorph effects. Third, its dps is lower than that of a druid, but it’s still a decent choice for a tank. And fourth, it’s much cheaper than a druid, which has high DPS and AC.
Druids’ forms will have new textures and styles. The hair and skin colors of Night Elves and Tauren will also be more customizable. Druids can also customize their forms by changing their hair and skin tones. The new textures and colors will overlap with existing colors. Fortunately, most classes will have at least one form to choose from, so it’s not too difficult to customize your character.
Models
Druids will be delighted to learn that the new Cat Form models will have five new skin and hair colors, as well as new textures. Night elves and tauren will also have more options to change the look of their feline companions. Unlike other classes, Druids will be able to have more hair colors and change their skin tone to suit their new feline looks. However, some of these colors will overlap with existing ones.
Druids will get extra attention with the new cat forms for Feral Druids. This new class is expected to have 22 feline forms available, depending on the Artifact Talents and races available. MMO-Champion teased these new artifact forms during the Alpha, and the resulting cat models are pretty incredible. So if you’ve been dying to have a feline cat form for your Druid, now’s your chance!
Abilities
Abilities of World of Warcraft cat forms are varied and can be used to maximize your character’s potential. The cat form lacks dual wield, but has high attack power and the ability to delay the casting of spells. These abilities are based on the character’s level and strength and DPS gear. The following table shows the most popular cat forms and their respective abilities. We will review these abilities in detail.
While shapeshifting doesn’t grant much additional utility in battle, it boosts melee attack power by about 40% and allows for faster movement. It also protects against Polymorph effects and grants protection from falling damage. Additionally, shapeshifting allows the character to avoid movement impairing effects, such as polymorph effects and spell casts. A cat form character will be able to track humanoids and move stealthily, giving them a significant advantage in a fight.
Level cap
Many players were eagerly awaiting the release of the new World of Warcraft expansion “Battle for Azeroth,” which increased the level cap from 110 to 120. One such character is a troll druid named Luigini. Luigini was a troll in World of Warcraft when she reached the cat form level cap in just a few days. She credited the help of her WoW guildmates, Meeres and Deepshades, for making her task a lot easier.
The Burning Crusade expansion was released in December 2010 and raised the level cap to 85. It also introduced flying mounts and the druid form. New races, including Blood Elves and Draenei, were added with this expansion. Additionally, the Alliance/Horde conflict storyline was revisited. In addition to this, there was also a new class called the Warlock.
