Xanan
The first time you meet Xanan, you might not recognize him. He’s an orc rogue that crippled a World of Warcraft server for months in 2005. Anyone who dared to enter his domain was promptly killed. His name was Angwe, and he hailed from the Decethus server. But despite the rogue’s racial heritage, the orc rogue’s pranks are still a cause for concern.
Indalamar
When World of Warcraft first came out, Indalamar made waves in the game’s vanilla phase. He was hired by Blizzard to work on the items and re-define warrior prowess. Using his Blood-Thirst ability and various trinkets, Indalamar destroyed high-level mobs in as little as three minutes. Indalamar’s fame was largely due to his video game work. In addition to his legendary performance, he also helped develop the item design for World of Warcraft.
Angwe’s role in Battlegrounds
Angwe is a legendary PVPer in World of Warcraft. The Alliance and Horde factions of the game are split by a language barrier. This caused Angwe to create two accounts and play on both factions at once. He used Angwespy to send his victims messages and capture tantrums. This makes him one of the most effective PVPers in the game. Initially, Angwe targeted players who were AFK waiting on the boat to arrive in the island of Dethecus. However, once word of his murders spread across Dethecus, he continued to kill players who had reached the boat.
Angwe’s role in the Million Gnome March
The role of Angwe in World of Warcraft Episode 1 is largely based on how a female rogue in an early game of the MMO crippled a WoW server. The rogue, Angwe, killed anyone who dared step into his domain. Angwe was a rogue from the Decethus server.
Indalamar’s significance in WoW’s history
A key reason for Indalamar’s prominence in World of Warcraft’s first episode is his reinterpretation of vanilla warrior prowess. Despite being underpowered, warriors have been often criticized for being too weak by the community. He reinterpreted the role of the warrior and utilized a Blood-Thirst ability along with numerous talent points and trinkets to destroy high-level mobs within a short amount of time. This resulted in Indalamar being hired by Blizzard to develop itemization for warriors.
The Million Gnome March
What was the purpose of The Million Gnome March? Its organisers conceived a march through which players rolled a level one gnome and marched to Ironforge. They called it the Million Gnome March, and people were encouraged to sign up for it. This march had several goals, including protesting the nerf of the priest class, bringing more attention to the plight of the gnomes, and promoting a better Argent Dawn.
