‘Eternity’s End’
The Eternity’s End update for World of Warcraft is almost here! The update will mark the end of the Shadowlands expansion, and introduce the new zone Zereth Mortis, as well as the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid. To celebrate the update’s release, Blizzard invited members of the media to an exclusive group interview. Here are some of the things you should know about Eternity’s End:
‘Patch 9.2’
This expansion introduces some huge changes, and Patch 9.2 is no exception. New content focuses on the Torghast, a rogue-like dungeon. The game mode Jailer’s Gauntlet pits players against increasingly powerful enemies. As a bonus, players will be rewarded with unique rewards. Other changes include the reintroduction of set bonuses and the ability to wear two legendary pieces. Also, domination sockets will no longer work in the new raid or zones.
‘Patch 9.3’
The next patch is bringing cross-faction play. It will allow players of the Alliance and Horde to form groups and play against each other. This feature will come with a price: you’ll have to finish the Zereth Mortis story first. Meanwhile, PvP is in short supply, thanks to balance changes. But the game’s most important features aren’t coming with this patch.
‘Patch 9.4’
World of Warcraft fans are very excited for the next expansion that will be available in World of Warcraft. The last expansion was Shadowlands, and while Hazzikostas is being coy about what’s coming next, he did say that patch 9.2.5 is the final patch for Shadowlands. The upcoming expansion will take players to the Dragon Isles and introduce a new playable race based on dragons.
‘Patch 9.7’
The new Patch 9.7 for World of Warcraft A: Love Eternal has several notable changes. In the original release, players were not able to play on Mythic difficulty. This was due to a bug that made players who invited other players to join a cross-faction party hostile. Luckily, this issue has been fixed now. Now, players can start playing on Mythic without fear of being harassed by other players.
‘Patch 9.8’
In patch 9.8 for World of Warcraft A Love, several issues were fixed. The Night Fae’s Podtender no longer activates when the user is mind controlled. The Vigilant Guardian no longer resets when the player leaves it. Also fixed was a bug wherein the Vigilant Guardian would not always be active. The damage that could be done by the Banishment Mark when using it was reduced. The damage that was done by Halondrus the Reclaimer on the target with Eternity Overdrive was reduced to 42% of its original value. Lastly, the maximum strength stack cap of Death Knight Blood was increased.
‘Patch 9.9’
This update fixes many of the issues found in the previous patch. The issue where the Night Fae’s Podtender activated when the player was mind-controlled has been fixed. There are also changes to the effects of Wo’s stealth, pets, and guardians. Other important changes in the patch include improvements to the combat, the ability of the Brewmaster Monk to use Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox, and more.
