Thrall
Thrall is the main character of the World of Warcraft. He first appeared in Warcraft 3 and last appeared in the Legion expansion. The character passed the Doomhammer on to Shaman player characters, but later walked away from his Shaman powers due to the guilt and shame he felt for failing to protect the Horde during the Battle for Azeroth. Blizzard isn’t releasing the patch 8.2 date, but players will most likely have to wait until May to see his resurgence.
The cinematic for Thrall’s return in Legion has a lot to do with his disassociation from the events of the BFA and previous expansions. Thrall’s absence in the first part of the expansion is an excuse for a major character reveal. During the first cutscene in Legion, Thrall is a druid who is being chased by the Alliance. It’s clear he’s undergoing a lot of soul searching in his new life, and that’s reflected in the cutscene for the character.
Arthas
In World of Warcraft legion, Arthas, the fallen paladin, is remembered in a number of heartwarming cutscenes. Arthas was once a beloved icon, and was eventually turned into the terrifying Lich King. He was the reason why bolvar fordragon left his daughter as an orphan. The heartbreak Arthas caused was so great that it broke Jaina’s heart and uther is saddened by it.
While this cinematic is extremely touching, it is also somewhat polarizing. Many World of Warcraft players felt that the cinematic was misguided, and that it failed to honor the character. Some players complained that Arthas was unfairly painted as a villain due to his actions during the Third War. On the other hand, he was under Jailer’s command during the Third War, and yet Sylvanas committed atrocities in his name one expansion ago.
Sylvanas
The role of Sylvanas is an iconic one in Warcraft lore. Her character development was generally well received even before World of Warcraft: Legion, though many criticized her after the game came out. Sylvanas was generally seen as a capable military leader, with a sympathetic tone in the game’s narratives. She has since become one of the most popular characters in the game, and is among the most recognizable characters from Blizzard Entertainment’s games.
The character of Sylvanas is a complex character with conflicting morals. She started a continent-spanning war and made Anduin do his chores. With a storyline like this, players were getting increasingly nervous. This new direction for her character may prove to be more unappealing. Fortunately, the cutscenes for World of Warcraft: Legion show that Sylvanas will eventually return to Azeroth, perhaps even become a raid boss.
Arthas’ speech
The most famous part of World of Warcraft legion is the end cinematic, known as Arthas’ Betrayal. This speech was originally delivered by the former Banshee King to the young Prince Arthas of Lordaeron. But, after the destruction of Lordaeron, Arthas’ speech became the antithesis of what it meant. As the new king of Azeroth, Arthas is a different type of king than Terenas.
This cutscene evokes the legend of Prince Arthas, a central figure in the Warcraft universe. His return from Northrend is depicted in a cinematic that includes the rune blade Frostmourne. However, the cinematic also shows that the beginning of Legion Expansion brought many losses to both sides. It does not reflect the heroic sacrifice of King Vol’jin, though it is an important part of the game.
Thrall’s battle with Mal’ganis
Thrall’s battle with the dark elf Mal’ganis is one of the most memorable battles in the World of Warcraft legion cutscenes. This scene will leave you glued to the screen. Thrall’s death is the final blow in his quest to free Mal’ganis and regain control of the world. This fight will test the resolve of Thrall and his companions.
Thrall and his companions must face the deadly threat of the Dark elf king Mal’ganis. The Alliance is the most powerful faction in the game and Thrall is their leader. In the World of Warcraft legion cutscenes, Thrall is seen fighting Mal’ganis and his allies. This fight is the most memorable scene in the World of Warcraft game.
Arthas’ return to Northrend
The post-Anduin cinematic shows Arthas’ final fate in the Shadowlands. While he deserved punishment without judgement, he also deserves a redemption arc. While he was cut from WotLK’s storyline, Arthas would have been a great addition to the afterlife expansion if he had remained a minor character. Ultimately, we all deserve a second chance and a chance to make amends.
Upon Arthas’ return to Northrend in the World of Warcraft legion cutscenes, he visited the ruins of Durnholde Keep, where he met the orc gladiator Thrall. He was later visited by Taretha, who was sent by Aedelas to talk to Arthas. She reminded him of his dead wife Jaina Proudmoore. Then, he rode his mount, the Invincible, and met an accident. In the process, he killed the horse and destroyed his camp.
