Demon Hunter class
While the Demon Hunter isn’t a new class in the game, it will definitely see some change in Legion. As we’ve seen with other classes in WoW, you can now switch between damage-dealing and tanking roles. As such, this class feels less “new” than others in the game and more tied to the typical WoW framework of damage-dealing, tanking, and healing. In addition, you’ll be able to customize your Demon Hunter’s appearance as well as its ability to change class types.
While pre-Legion polls indicate that everyone will play the Demon Hunter, the beta is showing that most players will stick to their veteran characters. This is likely due to the fact that the class is only available to one race per faction, only two specs, and is notoriously difficult to play well. In addition, the Demon Hunter has no support role for other classes, so it’s unlikely that any of its veterans will be joining the class in Legion.
Artifact Weapons
While Artifact Weapons aren’t a requirement for every class, you should consider acquiring them if you can. Once you’ve reached level 102, you can start pursuing artifact weapons. However, be aware that you can only pursue one artifact weapon at a time. Each of the weapon’s traits has their own advantages and disadvantages, so you should choose the one that will fit your playstyle.
In addition to the stat bonuses, there are also other ways to level up your weapons. Artifact Weapons can be upgraded and enhanced by Artifact Power, which is earned while adventuring, winning PvP objectives, and beating dungeon bosses. The way to unlock these weapons is by spending the artifact power you’ve earned. You can move along the trait tree by spending the accumulated power.
Draw distance
Blizzard has announced that the next expansion of World of Warcraft will feature an extended draw distance. The “under the hood” changes are detailed on Blizzard’s official blog, and the new features will not be limited to the Broken Isles. They will be added to the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor as well. To see the difference, check out the following comparison screenshots.
The Legion update will increase the draw distance to 3,500 units in both game and fog. It will make game views more eye-catching. Below are screenshots of game views at high and ultra settings from the first two expansions. Using a 64-bit client will enable these improvements. However, it is imperative that you check the game’s technical requirements before purchasing a new computer. A recent update to the game’s graphics settings is not enough to get the best performance.
Spec specific toolkit
Blizzard has made a decision to prioritise spec identity in World of Warcraft: Legion over class identity in the next expansion. The reason for this is that they want more class-wide strengths in Battle for Azeroth, and they don’t want the same tools for every class to serve all roles. Although hybrids will still have some toolkits, these aren’t necessarily the best option for every class.
In World of Warcraft: Legion, the Spec-Spec Toolkit allows you to customize the look and feel of your gear according to your class’s primary stat. In general, the new toolkit is focused on reducing the cooldowns of finishing moves. You can use it to increase your damage while still maintaining the same aesthetic. The following are the most effective toolkits for each class.
