Changes to PvP
Blizzard has announced changes to PvP in World of Warcraft Legion, including the elimination of PvP-specific gear. In addition, the game will introduce a new prestige system to reward players with a certain amount of experience in the game. Demon hunters

While most of the game’s PvP gear is useless in Legion, a new feature in the upcoming expansion will help you improve your equipment in the most effective way. PvP gear will now contribute to your overall power through a small modifier based on your item level. Each point your gear gains in item level will increase your pre-determined PvP stats by 0.1%. So if two players have the same item level, they will have a difference of just over 2.5%. As a result, players will still have a reason to improve their gear, despite the changes made to the PvP system.
The gear rewards in World of Warcraft legion mashups are also new in Legion. Instead of dividing them between all players, they are distributed to the top players of each faction separately. This is a welcome change, as you can now play the faction of your choice. The good news is that these new PvP rewards are worth waiting for. Just make sure you play in the faction of your choice!
