While the world of Warcraft legion shaman will be a bit different from previous incarnations, they still hold some similar characteristics. In addition to the shaman’s lowered DPS, this class will have a different set of resources and totem restrictions compared to other classes. Ultimately, the shaman may turn out to be a great healer in Legion.

Totem bar
The Totem bar is a convenient place to keep track of all your skills. The totem bar is located on the left side of the toolbar, and you can drop up to four totems at once by clicking one of the buttons on the bar. This skill replaces Totemic Call and has a single global cooldown, so you can use it whenever you like. You can also change the color of your totems to match your preferred class theme.
There are two types of Totems that you can use as a Legion Shaman. The Strength of Earth Totem improves melee DPS, and you should use it most of the time. The Tremor Totem will break charms, sleep and fear mechanics, but they only last for a short period of time. The Earthbind Totem will slow down nearby units, but it can be handy in a pinch. The Earth Elemental Totem is a summonable taunt.
Elemental shaman
An elemental shaman’s stat priorities are similar to other casters. Their primary focus is on spell power, but their gear priorities differ from other casters’. For example, they should prioritize Mastery and Haste over Intellect and Versatility. These attributes provide bonuses to spell output and damage. Finally, critical strike reduces enemy spell resistance. Considering these factors, an elemental shaman’s rotation is relatively straightforward.
While weapon skill isn’t nearly as important as weapon enhancement, it’s useful when you run out of mana. There are skill levels for each weapon type and two-handed variants. As a rule, it’s best to cap one of the weapon skills for your elemental shaman. By reducing the chance of misses and parries, it also increases critical strike probability.
Restoration shaman
The Restoration Shaman is a well-rounded healer that excels in player versus environment situations, such as raids and Mythic+ dungeons. The Restoration Shaman provides large-scale healing, as well as countless ways to reduce or absorb damage taken by party members or raid members. This class is among the strongest healers in World of Warcraft. Despite the fact that it’s a tank, the Restoration Shaman can also deal a bit of damage.
While most healers concentrate on mana conservation, Restoration Shamans’ secondary stats (damage, sustain, and healing power) tend to be less important than the primary ones. In addition, this class isn’t suited for solo play due to their low damage output. Nevertheless, the low damage output makes the Restoration Shaman useful in group PvE, since he rarely dies when questing or in heroics.
Enhancement shaman
Considering playing an Enhancement Shaman? There are many benefits to this class. These shamans are particularly good at single-target damage. They can channel AoE damage to one target while taking no damage themselves. They can also reincarnate while in battle. Despite their versatility, this class is still quite faction-specific. There are only a few races available for this class. For that reason, you should carefully choose the race that fits you best.
The Enhancement Shaman had some good points in both BFA and Legion. In BFA, they had an almost endless Maeltrom, free cast Stormstrike procs, and a few bonus Stormstrike damage buffs. In Legion, however, they’ve lost these, and their other positive features aren’t as important. With a bit of work, the class can become a viable option.
Dark shaman
The Dark Shaman is one of the most powerful classes in World of Warcraft, and it represents everything wrong with Garrosh Hellscream and his quest for control. The Dark Shaman seeks to bring elemental weapons to Hellscream, imbue warriors with their essence, and create a new breed of warrior. However, there are some drawbacks to playing this class. Here are some of them.
The first thing to know about the Dark Shaman is that you will encounter him in the Siege of Orgrimmar instance. You will need to fight him as a melee character, and his main ability is Shadow. However, there are some tricks you can use to make him vulnerable. The first tip is to kill the Dark Shaman before he kills you. If you are a new player to WoW, he can be a difficult boss.
