World of Warcraft – Next Playable Race?

Is it time to add another playable race to World of Warcraft? I have some ideas. There are some pretty cool possibilities out there. The next races that should be added to WoW are the Dracthyr, Mechagnome, Faun, and Naga. Each of these could be a fantastic choice. But which one should be the first? And what would it take to add them to WoW?

Table of Contents

Dracthyr

The Dracthyr are the next playable race in World of WarCraft. Unlike other draconic races, Dracthyr can shift between draconic and humanoid forms. This new playable race is the first of its kind. The Dracthyr look quite unique, but it isn’t the only interesting thing about the Dracthyr. This new race will be playable with the new Evoker class. The Dracthyr will be able to use their new abilities, including wing buffet conal knockback and tail swipe knockup.

As the next playable race in the World of Warcraft, Dracthyrs will have unique abilities and traits. They will be able to utilize the unique powers of dragonflights and use unique mechanics for their Empower. Blizzard is clearly trying to tap into the fantasy of dragons, and it shows. The Dracthyr can be only played in the Evoker class, which combines the powers of the five dragonflights and makes use of abilities only born dragons have.

Mechagnome

The Vulpera and Mechagnome are the next two playable races in World of Warcraft. These resourceful nomadic races have inhabited the Vol’dun sands for centuries. Now they have left the sands in search of adventure. And they are ready to join the Horde. Mechagnomes, meanwhile, are a fusion of vulpera and humans.

The Vulpera are anthropomorphic fox creatures allied with the Horde, hailing from the Vol’dun region. The Mechagnome, on the other hand, is a cybernetic gnome with small stature and no limbs. They are able to summon decoys of themselves, unlock chests with Skeleton Pinkie, and act as crafting tools. The Mechagnome has similar traits to Gnomes, but is considered more advanced.

Mechagnome is one of the Allied races in World of Warcraft, available to Alliance players since the Battle for Azeroth expansion. They have a capital city called Mechagon. Taking advantage of SkyCoach can help you unlock the Allied Races quickly and safely. You can unlock the Mechagnome through a SkyCoach and be ready for battle on the opening day of the expansion.

Murloc

World of Warcraft has yet to announce the next playable race, but if forums are to be believed, the Murloc is one of the most likely candidates. This amphibian race gurgles and waddles at people, and is even known to think. This means that they could have thought processes and voices, which would be hilarious for the gnomes. Changing the murloc’s behavior to become more socially acceptable would eliminate one of the most distinctive features of the murloc.

The history of the murloc is largely unknown. Interestingly, murloc lore is based on oral tradition, and is often repetitive about the murloc’s unpronounceable forefathers. Although it is hard to decipher murloc language, rumors abound that murlocs are ancient creatures that evolved from the Gorlocs of the Sholazar Basin. This would suggest that these creatures are a race that evolved from ancient people, and that they are descendants of the Naga.

Faun

In World of Warcraft, the next playable race is Faun. This satyr race is known for their dark nature, and they are suited to inhabit shadowy environments. They are excellent scouts and can penetrate enemy lines much deeper than any other race. World of Warcraft has a huge variety of playable races, and Fauns are an excellent choice for the Alliance.

There are currently 24 playable races in World of Warcraft, split between the Alliance and Horde. New races have been added with each expansion pack, from The Burning Crusade to Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria to Legion. In the upcoming ninth expansion, Blizzard should introduce a new race, but it’s not yet clear what that race will look like.
