Changes to the leveling system
The World of Warcraft patch 2.3 will introduce changes to the leveling system in a few ways. Blizzard will increase the rate at which players level in the old world content, and will make certain items dropped by the bad guys easier to find. The leveling curve will be much faster, thanks to the new quests and increased amount of experience gained. Blizzard will also nerf some of the worst enemies in the game, and will make certain items drop by them more useful.
In addition, the leveling dungeons will be scaled to a lower range. For example, Shadowfang Keep is being retuned to level 18-25, making it more challenging for players at the lower end of the level range, and easy for higher level players. Players at the high end of the scale will be able to complete this dungeon much quicker than those at lower levels.
The Jewelcrafting profession has been added to the game during the pre-patch. To get it, you need to travel to Exodar or Silvermoon. Once you’ve mastered the skill, you can make a ring, armor, and a pair of earrings. The cooldown for creating an Arcanite Bar is gone, but it is still necessary to use a Moonwell. Cooldowns for other professions have also been shortened by four hours, which means you can log in late and still enjoy your favorite content.
Changes to the action bar
Players will notice some major changes in the action bar. Players can now see the cooldowns of their items in the item tooltips, as well as the amount of damage that has been reduced by successful blocks. The actions bar also has an improved look thanks to the new resizing feature. Players will find it easier to navigate through their actions, and they will be able to see which actions are pending for the next action.
Those who use the action bar will notice that quest givers will show the questing option as a question mark when the quest has been completed. The same goes for innkeepers, who will now display the hearthstone icon to the right of their name. Other changes are mainly cosmetic. This change will be noticeable only to players who frequently use their action bar. Nevertheless, some players will find these small changes unnoticeable, and may want to revert to the previous version of the action bar.
Arcane Blast and Ice Lance now work on fist weapons, allowing non-hunters to use them. The rage effect will now be calculated by the damage dealt. PvP Trinkets will now work again. They will no longer cause movement impairing effects. However, the new Ice Armor option will only be visible when the damage shields have been depleted.
Changes to the guild bank
In World of Warcraft patch 2.3, the guild bank has received a few major changes. This update brings a few new features and fixes for the previous version. First, the “owner list” will now display player icons instead of empty spaces. In addition, you can now color your equipment sets to match your character’s skin. You can also now use the new “Withdraw-Repair Only” option in the guild bank. Although this will only affect certain guild members, you will still be able to use your daily amount of money for repairs.
In the previous system, the Guild Bank was simply a set of player character bags. The new system views Guild Banks as independent entities owned by a Guild, and a player cannot delete a character that holds guild leadership status. However, this character can be replaced by a guild GM or banned, and when the guild disbands, the guild leader receives the items via mail.
Another new feature of World of Warcraft patch 2.3 is the ability to store items in the guild bank. Players can now store items and money in the bank in addition to other items. These changes will help players who often use the bank to store items. A new raid dungeon called Zul’Aman will be added to World of Warcraft in patch 2.3. The boss is Nalorakk the Bear God, and he can switch between his troll form and giant bear form. During the quest, he will switch between these two forms, so players will have a better chance of being successful in the fight.
