Hotfixes in World of Warcraft 7.0
Today’s hotfix adds a number of new effects and changes to spells. Shadowstrike has been reduced to 15 yards from 25 yards. The duration of Exsanguinate has been increased to three seconds, and between the eyes damage has been increased by 18%. Other new effects and changes include the Jolly Roger, which increases Saber Slash damage by 25%, and Buried Treasure, which makes the duration of your base Energy regeneration longer. Lastly, Grand Melee now has a 50% attack speed increase, and Slice and Dice increases attack speed by 90% and 95%.
Control is King is now a better choice for an Outlaw Rogue. Subsequent procs will no longer add duration, and instead refresh the effect. Shadowy Duel no longer prevents a party from attacking the base of a Domination battleground. And Hunter’s Flare will no longer cancel Shadow Dance, either. All of these changes are part of our ongoing work and will take effect in the next weekly maintenance.
Changes to Challenge Artifact Appearances
A new change in World of Warcraft patch 7.0 relates to the artifact appearances of champions. You can now earn a new legendary appearance by completing the Class Order campaign, which involves gaining a legendary weapon and taking on an epic-sized adversary. To earn an artifact, your champion must first reach level 110 and acquire all 35 ranks. Then, he or she must finish the questline to unlock the four new traits.
The changes to the Artifact Challenges make it more difficult for players to obtain some of the most popular chalenge appearances. Previously, players had to complete the Mage Tower challenge to obtain a certain look for their weapon. This required a rotation of skill levels and world questing in the Broken Shore region. The changes have made the questline more challenging for players, but this is also one of the benefits of completing the quest.
Bug fixes in World of Warcraft 7.0
The patch includes a number of fixes for the game’s most common bugs. For instance, the Death Knight class trial can no longer be interrupted while wearing the ‘Antumbra, Shadow of the Cosmos’ cloak. The Monk class trial no longer results in the incorrect tradability of summoned guardians, and a bug in the Great Vault is now resolved. According to a player’s report on June 30, gear distributed by the Great Vault was below the item level expected. For example, a player ran 10 14+ keys last week, and received an item level 226 hood and a level 220 hood. This bug has been fixed, and isn’t expected to recur in the near future.
There are also several minor bug fixes in this patch, including the ability for City Guards to respond to the wave and salute emotes. In addition to these fixes, the patch also fixes an issue with the summoned guardians’ combat behavior. As for the patch’s fixes, players will notice that some items will now respond to emotes correctly, and the effect of the Barov Peasant Caller’s eye will no longer be distorted.
New classes in World of Warcraft 7.0
The new World of Warcraft 7.1 patch brings a host of new classes to the game. The Evoker class is one of the new ranged classes, and is part of the Dragonflight expansion. This class is a ranged caster with a wide range of unique magic abilities. Check out the video below to see more of this new class. Depending on your playstyle, you might prefer to specialize in one of these classes or choose a combination of the three.
The Engineer class reflects the role of the tinker from Warcraft 3. A tinker had the ability to use their inventions as spells. Instead of casting spells, they could place objects, such as turrets, healing drones, and helpful robots. The class could also have a fantasy skin. It would be perfect for gnomes, and playing such a class could be quite fun.
