World of Warcraft Raw Whitescale Salmon

To fish for World of Warcraft raw whitescale salmon, you need to know the location of the Blasted Lands. If you are fishing in the Blasted Lands, you may also catch Raw Redgill. If this is the case, backtrack to the Blasted Lands and take a taxi to Shattrath or Outland. To obtain the highest drops, you need to get a decent amount of food.

Fishing in the Blasted Lands

If you haven’t tried fishing in the Blasted Lands yet, you’re missing out on a great opportunity to earn gold and level your Cooking skill. Fishing in this area can yield an abundance of rare, tasty, and incredibly cheap fish that will add to your Cooking skill and sell for a high price. Getting started is easy: teleport to the Blasted Lands or the Tainted Forest and head straight for the river. Once you reach the river, fish near cliffs and lakes. The two most valuable fish you can catch in the Blasted Lands are Raw Whitescale Salmon and Sunscale Salmon.

You can also catch Raw Redgill and Winter Squid in the same channel as Salmon. While the latter is not as rare as the former, its drop rate is still fairly low at 45%. Similarly, the chance of catching a rare fish is higher than normal if you fish in the Blasted Lands, but you’ll need to be very patient. The rewards are well worth the effort.
