From the war between the Horde and the Alliance to the origin of world-souls and azerite, this lore overview will cover all the basic details of the game’s storyline. To get started, follow the links below to learn about each main plot and character in the game.

Conflict between Horde and Alliance

In the World of Warcraft game, the conflict between Horde and Alliance has been a constant issue. In the game’s history, the two factions have pursued storylines that pit one against the other. This separation led to the development of different social structures and ways to communicate in the world. The recent Battle for Azeroth was an example of this. The conflict between the factions ended with a tenuous truce.

This series of games has been a longstanding one, with the original game pitting humans against orcs. As time passed, the opposing factions became increasingly diverse, with more races joining the fray. Only when a threat emerged did they agree to put aside their differences and work together for the good of the world. The latest game is called ‘Battle for Azeroth’, and it includes two new continents and six new zones. While the Alliance will explore the seafaring kingdom of Kul Tiras, the Horde will settle on the island home of the Zandalari tribe.

Origin of world-souls

When you first begin playing World of Warcraft, you will be told about world-souls. World-souls are entities that have been forged from living creatures. They are used in many ways in the game, including crafting items and summoning monsters. You will learn about the lore behind these entities as well as the reasons why they were crafted. For example, a world-soul can be forged from another world’s body, making it more powerful than its original one.

In World of Warcraft, world-souls can be imbued into a vessel by a Dreadlord. The dreadlords, which are a part of the Legion, will infuse that vessel with the soul of Argus. In World of Warcraft, these beings are used by the Legion to fuel their infinite army. However, this story is not as easy as it may seem.

Origin of azerite

During World of Warcraft’s “War” expansion, the focus is on the “Age of Reckoning,” where tensions between the Alliance and Horde are at an all-time high. After the sword of Sargeras impaled Azeroth, a new mineral was created that allows players to channel incredible power. The two sides are now at war over these glowy rocks, with no clear winner yet.

Azerite is similar to the element Mako from the Final Fantasy series. It boosts everything. It heightens the senses and gives the wielder an exultant calm. Azerite also increases strength and dexterity, and is nigh-indestructible. Azerite also doesn’t make mortals go mad, but it negatively affects elementals.

Relationship between Durotan and Draka

The Relationship between Durotan and Draka is a major plot point in World of Warcraft. The two met when Durotan was on his way to Azeroth, as Draenor was dying and Draka was pregnant. The two went to see Draka’s mother, Geyah, before traveling. Thrall had been a friend of Durotan’s for many years and told him about his father’s relationship with his mother. After the pair met, the two were able to kiss and began a relationship.

The two met again during the Kosh’harg festival, when Draka had finally gotten used to being an Orc. Durotan noticed her, and invited her to a hunt. Since hunting is one of the most important courtship rituals among Frostwolves, it seemed natural for the two to get to know one another. Although Draka was hesitant at first, she agreed to go hunting with Durotan. The two eventually became close, and Durotan was glad that Draka accepted his proposal of marriage.

Durotan’s marriage

This marriage in World of Warcraft is the result of a struggle between Gul’dan and Orgrim, a warlock and the leader of the Orcish Horde. Gul’dan was a renowned player in the game, and he had the ability to manipulate people to his will. He also possessed the power to open portals, and so he enlisted the help of the Frostwolf clan. However, Durotan continued to voice his opposition to Gul’dan and his Horde. When the Horde crossed into Azeroth, the orcs started gathering humans and orcs to use this magic to reopen the Portal.

After the battle, Durotan’s wife, Draka, gave birth to a son, Thrall. As Durotan became more aware that his legacy would live on, he decided to take action against the evil Gul’dan. In a bid to protect his son, he traveled to the encampment of Orgrim Doomhammer and began hunting them down.

Sylvanas Windrunner

The storyline of Sylvanas Windrunner is a reoccurring one in the World of Warcraft video game. First appearing in Warcraft 3, she is a high elf ranger who struggles to protect her homeland from Arthas’ forces. Later on, Arthas raises Sylvanas as a banshee and uses her as a weapon of war.

Originally a high elf from the realm of Quel’thalas, Sylvanas became the Banshee Queen and the leader of the Forsaken. The Forsaken were the first to enslave the human races. Until the Third War, Sylvanas was the warchief of the Horde. Her ancestors were kings and ranger-generals, and she was a vital part of their defending the city. However, her death was not without consequence, as Prince Arthas Menethil killed her and resurrected her as an incorporeal banshee.
