Introducing the molten front
Introducing the Molten Front in World of Warcraft is a major event that will reward those players who complete all the storylines associated with the expansion. This new daily quest zone can be accessed from a portal on Mount Hyjal. This zone covers the initial Firelands attacks, and is filled with fire elementals and allies of Ragnarnos. As the name suggests, this zone is hot and volcanic, so expect to fight your way through a variety of difficult tasks.
Daily quests
To help you unlock the Molten Front and its associated pets, you can do daily quests in the area. This region contains three pet vendors. You can buy one of these pets from each vendor by completing quests. You must be at least 85 to unlock the Molten Front pets. There are two daily quest areas in the Molten Front: the Sanctuary of Malorne and Malfurion’s Breach.
The Shrine of Aviana is located up two stairs. To get there, complete ‘Additional Armaments’. ‘Calling the Ancients’ gives you a daily quest that increases your MotWT. ‘Filling the Moonwell’ is another daily quest that increases your MotWT. The Shrine of Aviana is at Level 114. The quest will award you three marks.
Achievements
The Molten Front in World of Warcraft is a massive event that introduced a progression system that made this a very difficult event to complete. It was designed to provide a new experience and introduce players to new activities, but instead turned into a mundane daily grind. As with any other progression system, there are conditions to meet to complete these objectives. To achieve the Molten Front achievement, you must complete nine tough achievements. Some of these achievements only give you one shot a day.
Spirit beasts
Molten Front introduces three new spirit beasts – Ban’thalos and Magria. These three pets are less camped than their predecessors, and their respawn time is extremely long. Ban’thalos and Magria are the two easiest of the three to tame. However, if you’re having trouble tracking them down with your eyeballs, there’s a better way to go about it. You can use a rare finder addon such as NPCScan to find them. Silver Dragon is also a great option for locating Spirit Beasts.
Gumi is the most difficult of the three porcupine Spirit Beasts in MoP. He respawns every 10 minutes, but has a much higher rate of attack than Degu. If you happen to approach Gumi, he will kill you quickly. He hits harder than any other porcupine, and if you do not react fast enough, he’ll daze you, which makes it even harder to get away.
