Sylvanas Windrunner
As an undead character in World of Warcraft, Sylvanas Windrunner’s power is undeniable. She’s a fierce warrior who fought the Alliance’s Saurfang, who was able to raise Delaryn Summermoon to undeath. She has also slain one Val’kyr, which was a crucial achievement.
As an undead, she is a powerful vampire with a dark ranger class. Before being an undead, Sylvanas was a Night Elf and a banshee. She served as a ranger-general in the Silvermoon for the Third War, defending the city of Quel’Thalas. Her life ended during battle when she was stabbed by Arthas Menethil with a Frostmourne sword. After her death, she became a vengeful agent of the Lich King and became a fierce vampire.
Calia Deathwing
If you’re a raging warlock, you know the power of a Princess. Calia Deathwing holds immense diplomatic and political power, and her survival would help her thwart the Alliance’s efforts to win the war. Calia comes from an ancient family line that humans revere and esteem. Her Menethil family descends from the most prominent dynasty in Azeroth’s history. But what is her role in this story?
The princess of Lordaeron, Calia was born to Terenas and Lianne Menethil. She is the elder sister of Arthas, the Lich King. Her father was cool, and Deathwing did not reveal himself until he was well-known. He first disguised himself as Daval Prestor, a powerful human noble. But his plans turned out to be disastrous for his sister.
Alonsus Foal
Alonsus Faol is a former archbishop of the Church of Light and a crucial leadership figure during the Second War. He embodied the clergy and acted as a calming presence amid the bickering heads of state. He helped create some of the most powerful military forces in Azeroth and formed a new branch of the Church of Light made up of martial warriors and paladins trained in the spiritual power of Light.
Calia’s body was returned to the Netherlight Temple, which is where the Conclave meets. Alonsus regretted authorizing Calia to participate in the Gathering, since her body was still alive and not decomposing. He and Saa’ra guided the priests who raised Calia back to life. This was the first time that Alonsus had encountered an undead that had not possessed a mind.
Lilian
Lilian is an undead character in the World of Warcraft. She is a Forsaken representative on the Horde’s council. Previously, Lilian was a member of the Scarlet Crusade, a group that believed in the purity of life. However, their beliefs were distorted when they included non-humans in their ranks. After Lilian was made undead, she had trouble accepting her new identity and a new life. Nevertheless, her story has just begun, and she will be active in the Shadowlands for a while.
The name Lilian was given to Lilian before the current magical restructuring. Although her name resembles Lilian’s surname, it actually comes from the surname of Blizzard designer Voss. Her powers, however, were completely different. In World of Warcraft, Lilian had many abilities similar to those of other undead, but they differ in appearance. In BfA, Lilian gained Death magic and her ability to go into shadowform.
Arthas
The undead Prince Arthas is an important character in World of Warcraft. He’s a powerful warlock who fought alongside his brother, Illidan, to take down the Lich King, and is portrayed by actor Justin Gross. The character has also been voiced by Patrick Seitz (as the death knight, and paladin version of Arthas), and Michael McConnohie (the Lich King).
Arthas was 24 when the plague of undeath struck. He and Jaina were sent to investigate and battle the undead army. Arthas and Jaina were able to defeat the undead army, and they also fought an army of undead at a plague-infested granary. Kel’Thuzad, the necromancer who had infected the grain of Andorhal, spoke of a dark presence named Mal’Ganis, and Arthas made his way south to confront him in Stratholme.
