If you enjoy listening to audiobooks, you might enjoy the World of Warcraft: Wolfheart. This audiobook is heavily geared toward the Alliance, but it also has a good bit of Horde representation. It also has several stories at one time, which is nice because the author jumps between them to keep the story moving. It’s also a good book for WoW fans because it even has the game’s theme song at the end of each chapter!

King Varian Wrynn
During the events of the game, King Varian Wrynn led the Alliance forces in their battle against the Burning Legion. He was killed in battle at the Tomb of Sargeras, but not before entrusting a letter to his son Anduin and advising him to seek peace. After his death, Anduin was crowned King of Stormwind, and Varian’s body was entombed in Lion’s Rest, a castle built into the former crater of the Park. His tomb overlooks Stormwind Harbor, and now stands as a monument to all of the Alliance forces who died at the Broken Shore.
Varian Wrynn is also a legendary warrior class card. His flavor text reads, “Father of Anduin, Leader of the Alliance, and Father of Anduin.” He also reappears in the latest expansion, United in Stormwind, and has been featured in various quests. His favorite foods and drinks are crab legs and fresh catfish. His chin is larger than the average, and many fans like to comment on it.
Although Varian Wrynn’s character has a long history in print, the story of his life is equally intriguing. Although he has a raw, rough persona, he does possess a few redeeming traits. Varian struggles to deal with his anger and bitter outlook. His dedication to his cause is admirable and he’s a worthy role model. Just be sure to follow his example in World of Warcraft.
Genn Greymane
The character Genn Greymane has been introduced in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. He is one of the first characters a Worgen player will meet in the Gilneas region. While battling an executioner, he will inject the player with a serum to control himself. Although he has been affected by the Worgen Curse, Genn still prefers to appear in his human form.
When Genn arrived in Gilneas, he was mocked by King Varian Wrynn. He was asked if he would prefer to bring the entire Horde army to the Alliance’s capital, but Anduin refused, saying that he did not want to risk the armistice with Gilneas. Genn accepted Anduin’s decision, but he was still unsure about the victorious side.
As the war progressed, Greymane and his Alliance forces merged with the Horde in the Ruins of Lordaeron, and they began to fight the naga forces. The two sides eventually merged their forces, and Greymane fought alongside another adventurer, Lor’themar Theron. Both sides compliment each other’s fighting style, while the two leaders thank each other for not fighting earlier.
Night elves
The Night Elves are a race in World of Warcraft, with both males and females differing significantly in appearance. Males are typically tall, with broad shoulders and a lithe torso, and females are generally shorter and have slim waists. While both sexes share their long, pointed ears, Night Elves are also described as beautiful. Their cloaks are made of purple, and they wear them to conceal their identity.
As an ancient race, Night Elves are often self-sufficient and highly self-conscious. Their appearance is somewhat similar to that of the Battle Cat from the film He-Man. Their civilization flourished in the Well of Eternity, and they were among the first to use magic. Until the Burning Legion invaded the world, however, their use of magic began to decline, resulting in the rise of the Highborne race.
While male Night Elves are more dominant than female Night Elves, their social hierarchy remains the same. Men and women are both respected by the other races, and the former are treated as brothers. Even after the Sundering, the Highborne of Eldre’thalas are welcome back to Night Elf society, but they maintain their own distinct cultural values. Those who wish to explore their night elf past should seek out the knowledge of the ancient Night Elves’ history.
