You may be wondering whether you should continue playing Derelict Defense in the Warframe game. This ability gives you dual stats, but it’s no longer in your rotation, and the game has made the Derelict keys useless. You can still find them in Orokin Derelict vaults, but they have new modifiers. The Exterminate mission is the best way to find them.

Derelict Defense has been removed from rotation

Derelict Defense is no longer available for your Warframe. This removal of the Derelict Key System has changed the gameplay of the derelicts. Derelicts can no longer be used to access Void missions. Players will be refunded for Dragon Keys once the patch goes live. There is one map from this tileset in the Conclave, and it rewards unique Emotes for completing it.

The Derelict Sabotage mission now includes Corrupted Vaults. The AI is able to navigate terrain using flight and jumping, which should prevent them from spawn-camping in high places. Derelict Survival has also been tweaked to provide better spawning, as well as more play space. The tentacle traversal room is now removed.

There are several different ways to acquire this item. First, the best way to do this is to search for the Orokin Vault door with your team. Then, announce to your teammates that you require a Dragon Key. If you’re playing solo, you can do this in your own time, but I highly recommend doing it with a four-man team. Exterminate Mission

If you are having trouble finding derelict vaults, you may have noticed a Vault Door. The red icon in the center of the door matches a symbol on a Dragon key. When this symbol is matched, the vault door will unlock with the correct Dragon key.
