World of Warcraft Boss Names

When you are playing World of Warcraft, you have probably wondered what the names of your favorite bosses are. From Arthas to Illidan Stormrage to Kil’jaeden, you’ll learn which monsters are the toughest to face. Here, you’ll also learn about Archimonde, Garrosh Pandaria, and more. And don’t worry if you don’t know how to pronounce them – our list of World of Warcraft boss names will help you!

Arthas

There are some pretty good arguments for why Arthas is one of the World of Warcraft boss names. As a Lich King, he has committed unspeakable atrocities, and his name is synonymous with evil. While he’s not directly responsible for the destruction of Azeroth, he is certainly an evil character, and has been compared to Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Sauron in the game.

The crown prince of Lordaeron, Arthas Menethil, is one of the most popular characters in the game. A promising young paladin, he joins the Knights of the Silver Hand, and leads them against the undead Scourge. However, he’s also tempted by the powerful Ner’zhul, and so takes up the cursed sword Frostmourne.

Illidan Stormrage

Illidan Stormrage is a fictional character from the World of Warcraft video game series. A night elf by birth, Stormrage later became the first Demon Hunter, defecting to the Burning Legion and becoming a partial demon. Since then, Illidan has appeared in two video games – Heroes of the Storm and World of Warcraft: Legion. The character has received positive critical reception.

The lore surrounding Illidan Stormrage is fascinating. The character is a prodigy of arcane power, a man of many talents, and was the first to seek out demons. A prodigy, he betrayed his own people for the sake of others, but he was not always a villain. In his quest for power, he sought to be the ultimate arcanist, and he did, in many ways. His quest for power led him to demons and other creatures that he sought to defeat. But despite his demon-hunting, Stormrage was an important figure in the Warcraft franchise, and his story demonstrates why.

Kil’jaeden

You may be curious as to why the demon lord Kil’jaeden is listed as one of the World of Warcraft boss names. Basically, Kil’jaeden is a demon lord and a leader of the Burning Legion. His ultimate goal is to enslave every race into the Burning Legion. As such, he’s a fierce commander who uses shadow-based attacks. He has been fighting since the game’s beginning, and he has fought in five stages to become the Lich King.

While his powers are largely unknown, it is believed that he has the ability to shapeshift and manipulate his overall size. Unlike most other World of Warcraft bosses, his powers are more intangible and rooted in his history. For example, Kil’jaeden is credited with enslaving orcs, but this doesn’t mean he has the same power as Archimonde or Sargeras.

Archimonde

In World of Warcraft, the archimonde is one of the toughest monsters, and the name of this mob reflects that. This wrathful god defies sportsmanship and can turn his attacks against you with a single strike. To counter this, the main tank should be positioned so that he can quickly pull out his Dismember spell. In addition, the main tank should be ready to use his Berserker Rage spell when Archimonde casts Fear. Lastly, the healer should react with a defensive cooldown, such as Ice Cold Heal.

During the fight, Archimonde targets the tank first, and any players within eighty will get affected. He will then drag the tank into the Twisting Nether. During this time, a black portal will open in the area where the tank is banished. Living Shadow adds will also be coming out of the portal, and targeting the player will deal a large amount of damage, and the player will experience a 40% healing reduction.

Alexstrasza

The World of Warcraft boss name Alexstrasza means “Life-Binder” in English. The dragons of the Warcraft world frequently shapeshift into humanoid forms to be more easily communicated with and infiltrated by mortals. In addition to this, dragons can also change into various races according to their preferences. While Alexstrasza’s appearance is somewhat familiar to many, this new character can prove to be quite intimidating.

The name Alexstrasza relates to a group of different things in the real world. For example, “circle of life” refers to a large circle of flowers in the Twilight Highlands. This is the place where Alexstrasza lures Deathwing. This battle takes place during the quest “Enter the Dragon Queen.”
