In the Elden Ring, players are constantly subjected to Scarlet Rot, a noxious buildup that drains their health very quickly. Consumables

The best way to get rid of the status effect “Scarlet Rot” is to quickly travel. However, you cannot quickly travel when you are in combat. This method will automatically reset the map. Here are some quick travel methods you can use to get rid of Scarlet Rot:

The most effective cure for Scarlet Rot is to have a Crimson Tear Flask handy. The first one will be available at the Siofra River Well underground. If you don’t have one, you can purchase one from a merchant. You can also craft a bolus from your Armorer’s Cookbook or from the Church of the Plague.

Scarlet Rot is a deadly buildup effect that attacks enemies and players alike. Players will quickly lose health if this status effect isn’t stopped immediately. The buildup bar takes a few minutes to deplete. However, you can protect yourself from Scarlet Rot by using a preservable bolus. However, it is best to avoid selecting a pouch that is filled with it.

Incantations

All Incantations are tested for the most effective time and have been rated from C to D based on post-game saves. They’re still outstanding in terms of damage and bread and butter heals. However, the Mimic Tear spirit no longer heals itself with basic flasks. While these nerfs have not really affected the game, they’re a bit concerning nonetheless.

In order to use Scarlet Aeonia, you must first defeat Malenia, the Blade of Miquella, and obtain Remembrance of the Rot Goddess. Once you have it, use it to afflict Scarlet Rot to foes in the vicinity. You can pair this skill with Kindred of Rot’s Exultation, which increases melee damage by 20% when Scarlet Rot is present.

If you want to make use of the Incantations, you’ll have to kill some Dragons. The dragon in Caelid won’t attack you, but it’s still necessary to kill it to receive its heart. You’ll get 80,000 Runes from the kill. While this method requires some patience, it is a viable solution for the scarlet rot you’ve been suffering from.

Zombies

In the Elder Ring, one of the most common status ailments is Scarlet Rot, a disease that deals damage to players and enemies alike. This affliction has a short duration but a high damage rate, and it scales with the health of the player or enemy. This condition is particularly dangerous when combined with the effects of certain enemies. In this guide, we’ll explain how to lessen the impact of this dangerous status effect.

You can reduce the amount of damage caused by Scarlet Rot by taking Immunizing Cured Meat. This affliction reduces by boosting your immunity, which in turn prevents the infection from spreading. But the immunity-boosting item won’t protect you from other scarlet rot-causing enemies in Caelid. So, a good way to get rid of Scarlet Rot in Elder Ring is to avoid the area where the disease builds up.

Preserving Boluses

The Armorer’s Cookbook is required to craft Preserving Scarlet Rot-removing Preserving Boluses. It can be found in the Siofra River region, near the Site of Grace. It can be looted from a corpse near the edge of a cliff next to two ghostly Ancestral Followers. Once you have it, you can begin repairing your Scarlet Rot.

There are several ways to remove Scarlet Rot from your character. You can use Consumable Crystal Tear, Speckled Hardtear, Preserving Boluses, Flame Cleanse Me, and the Law of Regression to remove scarlet rot. You can also find Preserving Boluses in the Shack of the Rotting. They cost 2500 runes each.

To obtain Preserving Boluses, you need to find a Normadic Merchant in the Caelid Highway North. Using Preserving Boluses can cure the Scarlet Rot and get rid of Poison and rot. You can carry up to 99 of them at one time, so you’ll want to buy as many as you can afford. Aside from that, you can use Preserving Boluses to remove the damage caused by Scarlet Rot from your character’s body.
