Elder Ring Guide – How to Kill the Fire Giant at Level 130

To defeat the Fire Giant you must be level 130. Here are some tips on how to kill the giant at a high level. Use the Torrent mount and Body slams to defeat the fire giant. Don’t use the Explosive fire orb, though. These methods are too difficult for the average player to use. Use the tips in this guide to make your life easier when you face this challenge.

Level 130 to defeat the Fire Giant

The first step in overcoming the Fire Giant is to level up to 130. This questline requires you to explore an underground area and defeat nearby NPC invaders. When you defeat the Fire Giant, you’ll be able to use Gransax Bolt. This weapon is also important because it allows you to damage the area around it. Once you defeat the Fire Giant, you can move on to the next part of the questline, which will start at Level 140.

You’ll find the Fire Giant in the Mountaintops of the Great Giants, which is located in Leyndell. If you have an Rold Medallion, you can take it to Melina and pass through the Forbidden Lands. You’ll then need to climb to the Grand Lift of Rold. Once you’re on the Grand Lift of Rold, you’ll be able to defeat the Fire Giant.

Using Torrent mount

The Torrent mount is your primary weapon against the Fire Giant. While the Fire Giant’s sword is no longer a useful weapon against him, you can still use it to deal damage. The fire he breathes is much like a Dragon’s breath, and you’ll want to be near his feet at all times to dodge this type of attack. The Torrent mount’s speed also means you can dash out of the way to avoid being hit by it. This is a great way to get more damage to the Giant than you can with just your sword alone.

The Torrent mount is a great choice for melee-focused players, as it will allow you to hit the Fire Giant’s weak spot with solid strikes. The Torrent’s attack radius is large, so timing is crucial. While melees can use a quick punch to strike the fire giant, ranged players can also use the Torrent to get a good position behind the Fire Giant. To maximize your damage output, position yourself behind the Fire Giant and attack its weak spots. When the fire orbs explode, wait until it’s time to flee the area.

Body slams

There are two ways to beat a Fire Giant in EQ2: by body slaming him and by using projectile attacks. Both are effective at destroying enemies. During the first, the Fire Giant will throw its shield to the side. Once it does this, he’ll stomp, throwing enemies back into the air. It’s important to dodge these attacks and get behind him to avoid the giant explosion.

While body slams will kill the fire giant, it’s important to remember that the first phase only has one weakness, which is the Fire Giant’s left leg. If you hit it, you’ll reveal a weak spot in the Giant’s body and delay his attacks. During this phase, the Fire Giant will try to swarm you, dangle, roll away, and attempt to strike you with ranged attacks.

Explosive fire orb

A homing fire orb is the best way to take down a Fire Giant in Elder Ring. It follows you around and lasts a fair amount of time before exploding if you don’t dodge it. It also kills a Fire Giant in one hit if you don’t use other attacks to deal it enough damage. You can use the Explosive fire orb to make the Fire Giant kneel to fight you instead of using the shield-frisbee weapon.

Avoid the lava monster by dodging the explosion. When the giant is on fire, it will cast an explosion from its mouth. Luckily, there are ways to dodge the orb and avoid it. For example, if you’re riding a horse, you can move away from the giant’s belly and avoid the fireballs with a roll. This way, you’ll be able to dodge the orbs while you’re riding.
